During the Christmas celebrations of 2012, two families came together to celebrate as they had for many years. The mothers of both families brought them together for 60+ years. As I watched these two women sit together, celebrate the holidays and their families, I thought how amazing their friendship had been. What a powerful blessing our Lord had given them and their families. They enjoyed that day and were thankful. That was the last Christmas they both celebrated.

During this holiday season take time to be thankful for the friendship that God brings into our lives. Slow down to realize what a true blessing it is.
