Attitude check time has arrived! In ten days Christmas will be here. Are the Christmas cards ready? Have you found that special gift for your most special someone? Did you remember to get a present for the person who you forgot to get one for last year? Have you finished decorating the house?

Then again, if any or all of the above didn’t happen, would that actually stop your celebration of Christmas?

There were times when we couldn’t send many Christmas cards. There were times when what few Christmas presents we could buy were extremely limited. There were times when the house really did not get decorated.

But looking back at those days, they were filled with the greatest presents of all, love.

Love shared simply, yet in true Christian fellowship with family and friends is the real gift. Let us remember the words of Romans 12: 10

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor”
