The First Sunday in Lent
We are officially in the season of Lent and the 8:00 and 10:00 services will begin with The Penitential Order. (Basically the Confession of Sin is moved up to the beginning of the service rather than midway through.) There will also be a special collection for Episcopal Relief & Development’s Global Needs Fund. Additionally, the ERD “Hope Chests” will be available to collect your spare change during Lent. Those will be collected the Sunday after Easter Day.
Winter weather should be cleared by the time Sunday rolls around, but if not tune to this website, WPXI-TV (11), WTAE-TV (4), or KDKA-TV (2) for alternate information.
