The Day of Pentecost: Whitsunday

Pentecost Sunday is upon us and all parishioners and guests are encouraged to wear red this week!

At the 8:00 and 10:00 services we will have a guest preacher this week. The Rev. Frederick Onyango will preach. Father Fred is from Kenya where he was ordained into the priesthood in December, 2010. He is a graduate of the Uganda Christian University and Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. His ministry has been centered in the Diocese of Maseno South in Kisumu, Kenya.

This week is also the last day of Sunday School for the year. After the 10:00 service we will recognize our teachers and our High School Seniors. Following that, the Youth Group will host a picnic on the patio!

Our schedule:
8:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist Rite I
9:00 a.m. - Adult Forum (Topic: Genesis)
9:10 a.m. - Coffee & Fellowship (Narthex)
10:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist Rite II & Last Day of Sunday School
11:30 a.m. - Picnic on the Patio sponsored by the Youth Group
6:30 p.m. - Choral Evensong
